ISS Global Testing SSTV December 5-6 Prior to MAI-75 Over Moscow

December MAI-75 SSTV testing schedule:

**UPDATE - Nov 28**
Seems the system will be put through some extended testing from
December 5 starting around 15:00 UTC and running until 09:00 UTC
on December 6. Test images will be used during this period. This
will provide near global coverage if all works well.

The MAI-75 schedule over Moscow remains unchanged at this point.
The times correlate to a small number of passes each day in range
of Moscow.

UWE-3 News: Celebrating 4 years of operation in space
On 21st of November 2017 UWE-3 celebrated 4 years in space and is still running without any significant failures. The daily received UWE-3 beacons report its good health condition, including the nominal status of the batteries.

Infrormacion de lanzamiento de varios globos este fin de semana

El 8 y 9 de Setiembre de 2017, con la ya autorizacion de EANA y clima mediante,  AMSAT_LU lanzara desde General Pico y Victorica, La Pampa, en colaboracion con el Grupo NEAA, el Radio Club Pampeano y el RC QRM Belgrano varios Globos en el marco del tercer encuentro de NEAA. Pronostico trayectorias: http://lu7aa.org.ar/pronostico.asp .

1) El viernes 8 - horario a confirmar - se planea lanzar el PicoGlobo LU7AA de 15 gramos con emision WSPR de 25 mW , con intencion sea de larga duracion. Recibir en 14.095,6 KHz USB,  (Se necesita y agradece recibir WSPR y contribuir a seguimiento) Monitoreo WSPR: http://lu7aa.org.ar/wspr.asp .

2) El viernes 8 - horario a confirmar - se lanzara un Globo que elevara un avion radiocontrolado con video en 5.8 GHz. se estima liberar el aeromodelo a 2000 metros y regresarlo al lugar de lanzamiento.

3) El sabado 9 a las 10hs, se lanzara un Globo repetidor FM Voz de 435950 KHz, Subtono 123 Hz a 145950 KHz (2W), incluyendo APRS en 145.950 y 144.930, con SSTV-R36 en 145.950 y CW; que tambien emitira en vivo ATV (TV barrido Rapido) en 1240 MHz polarizacion vertical lo que vea el Globo.

Se estima cubrimiento a 26.000 metros del Centro de Argentina, incluyendo Chile y Uruguay. El RC QRM Belgrano, destacara personal en Control Ezeiza.

ISS, SSTV por el 20 aniversario de ARISS

En conmemoracion del aniversario numero 20 de ARISS, esta planeado un evento de SSTV para el jueves 20 de julio proximo comenzando alrededor de 21:25 utc.

Esta previsto realizar esta actividad desde una computadora del segmento Ruso en la ISS, la cual almacena imagenes que son luego transmitidas a la tierra usando el transceiver Kenwood TM-D710.
